Ben-Trol Product Introduction

Ben-Trol is a synthetic, low molecular weight and highly anionic acrylic copolymer. It can be used in bentonite plant and drilling site:

Bentonite Milling Plant Application

It is common practice to add a very small amount of bentonite extender polymer to the bentonite ore to ensure the bentonite achieves API or higher standards. Normally dosage of Ben-Trol is 0.3-0.5 kg per one ton ore.

Drilling Field Application

Ben-Trol will extend the yield of bentonite in fresh water non-dispersed fluids and it also helps control the build up of low density drilled solids by aggregation and encapsulation.

Add Ben-Trol slowly through hopper with bentonite. Recommended dosage is about 0.15 kg per 1000 liter, which is about 2-lb bag of Ben-Trol for 5-8 bags 100-lb sacks of bentonite added.
